Motorsport Games is a global team. Our HQ is based in sunny Miami, Florida and hosts the Digital Marketing and Product Development teams. The 704 Games team, based in nearby Orlando, work on our NASCAR games franchise. In Moscow, Russia, we have a first-class development operation delivering the very latest technology for our future products as well as additional development and esports operations based in England. Our UK office is just metres away from the main entrance to the home of British motorsport at Silverstone Circuit.

Current role will be divided into components that align with functional responsibilities. Publishing and Marketing activities to be assumed by that group. This position will report directly into our Miami office.

Responsibilities

Planning, Analysis and Reporting

Financial Modelling and Reporting – Develop and maintain 5 year financial model by brand. Coordinate with management to create annual budgets and periodic forecast updates. Provide variance analysis of forecast to actual on quarterly and annual basis.
Financial Analysis – Monthly P&L analysis by brand and subsidiary. Quarterly variance analysis (prior quarter, same quarter last year and year-to-date to support development of SEC quarterly and annual reports (10Q and 10K). Assist with drafting management discussion and analysis of financial results as well as liquidity and capital resources sections of SEC reports.
Cashflow Forecasting – Include as part of modeling exercise
Gross Margin Analysis – By segment / with and without amortization
Board of Directors Reporting – Assist with decks and reports to support board of directors meetings and requests.
Financial Reporting – Using Netsuite, produce monthly, quarterly and year to date management and external reports required for SEC filings.
Investor / Analyst Support – Work with analysts and investors on financial metrics and maintain consensus estimates from analysts tracked against the current forecast. Work with management, IR and PR resources to provide quarterly press releases and conference presentations for investors and analysts.
Acquisition Analysis and Integration – Work with senior management to develop acquisition financial models and assist with integration of acquired entities or assets. Work with valuation experts to determine proper accounting values for acquired companies and assets.
Competitive Analysis – Lead effort to develop competitive analysis and benchmarking where appropriate.

Accounting Related Activities

Revenues - Manage billing process and reconcile monthly distribution billing. Pull down monthly sales reports to make monthly revenue estimates, oversee any collections efforts and adjust revenue as needed.
Royalties – Manage the preparation of Quarterly royalty reports/payments/commitments and oversee/review calculation/report.
Payments and tracking to contract commitment
Annual and adhoc reports to tracks, teams and autos
Audit and Quarterly Reviews – Work with accounting to support the work effort to complete audit and quarterly reviews.

Publishing Related Activities

Product Ordering/Management - Work with internal resources and Technicolor, Sony & Microsoft to manage console product launch and throughout product lifecycle
Product Ordering Work with Sony DADC, Technicolor, Sony, Microsoft and Printing Arts to submit orders and ensure timely delivery
Product Management Work across company to manage console product launch, primary contact for packaging resources, obtain/disseminate SKU, barcode, UPC and retailer product codes.
Help with local NASCAR contacts as needed, such as social media shoots and games/equipment for events

Requirements

Experience leading a planning and analysis effort.
Experience in mobile and console videogame industry preferred.
Prefer degree in finance or accounting with additional preference for advanced degree or designation including CFA or MBA.
