Salesperson

An opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join one of the world’s leading teams in video game AI. Full-time position.

Are you interested in applying your skills and experience in conjunction with one of the foremost technologies in the video game industry today?

Our middleware Kythera is the most advanced AI solution on the market. We work side by side with studios, ranging from independent to AAA, to support the development of their title and AI features.

We are looking to employ a new staff member to help us bring our middleware to a wider market worldwide by executing an efficient process of sales established alongside our CEO and head of marketing.

Sales Culture

We have traditionally been technically focussed and an ability to gain an appreciation of our specialist terms and the substance of complex features will be important.

We do not wish to spread the net wide and cold calls will be a rarity and driven by yourself, not us. We wish to gradually grow our sales pipeline as our capacity to service it expands, and so can initially focus on a small number of potential licensees.

We are only interested in a collaborative sales process, not the hard sell, and see each new licensee as the start of a new partnership.

We are very interested in feedback from potential customers and wish to be flexible in what we can provide and how we structure it.

The CEO has previously handled sales and you will train with him on context, content, and appropriate approaches in line with our company culture.

Compensation

We are open to different compensation structures emphasizing a salary or commission. Whichever model might apply, we require from you modest results not immediately but within a set timeframe.

Areas of responsibility would include:

  • Outbound sales (seeking leads)
  • Processing inbound leads (from marketing)
  • Qualifying leads (further emails and research)
  • Nurture leads (emails, meetings)
  • Facilitate negotiations (trials, docs etc)
  • To negotiate deals within a framework
  • Close and handover to customer success
  • Periodic followups with new licensees

Experience must include

  • Proven track record in B2B sales (2-5 years)
  • Knowledge of the games industry

Ideally would include

  • Strong history of independent work
  • Well established network in the games industry
