With almost a year under our belt, it is time for us to strengthen our marketing team further, so we are looking for a junior marketing artist to join us.

In that role, you will collaborate with our Marketing Artist in creating assets and content to bring both our games as well as our own brand into the public’s eye.

You will become part of the engine of our publishing label’s creative brand content, making key art, graphic design elements, and social assets for our games and the publisher’s own brand. You'll be part of the team that designs our booths for shows like EGX and Gamescom, contribute to marketing planning, and maybe even design some merchandize. Your creations will be part of the first contact that many people will ever have with our games, so you will be enormously important.

What does a typical week look like?

  • Collaborate with the marketing artist to create high quality branding for our published games, including but not limited to: Key Art, Logos, Graphic design elements (fonts, colours, etc)
  • Collaborate with the marketing artist to create art assets for social media platforms, video, streams as well as advertising creatives for paid media campaigns.
  • Ensure that, together with the marketing artist, marketing assets remain up to date and relevant on all platforms and portals. This includes things such as banners, screenshots, gifs etc for websites, media kits and digital storefronts (Steam, Gog Epic Games etc)
  • Take ownership of composing, capturing, editing, and optimizing screenshots and gifs from game play and game play footage
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing team to plan/create captivating campaigns for each of our titles in line with the marketing strategy.
  • Maintain brand consistency across a range of digital and print promotional, marketing and event materials
  • Work collaboratively with external contractors when require

We would also like for you to learn and grow, utilizing our internal expertise but also by staying on top of current industry trends and practices.

What would we like to see?

  • A passion for video games, especially indie games.
  • Some experience with digital design and a strong and diverse portfolio that demonstrates confident drawing abilities and adaption between styles.
  • An keen interest in branding and marketing
  • Some experience in editing video
  • Experienced in creating art to meet a brief and being able to give time estimates
  • Confident in Adobe suite programs especially Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A collaborative spirit with great communication skills, who is not afraid to ask questions or be critical.
