The User Acquisition Manager - Korea is playing a key role in the company's marketing operations. The position’s primary objective is to help grow the company’s user base by managing performance marketing campaigns across various third-party networks and social channels.

Operating within the APAC Team at Mistplay, this role requires a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and effective communication. The Marketing Manager must be able to manage advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate has experience with mobile marketing and/or digital marketing.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Planning, managing, and executing user acquisition campaigns across various advertising channels in Korea.
  • Analyzing data and optimizing campaigns based on LTV and ROAS evaluations.
  • Monitoring and reporting campaign performance on a regular cadence to company stakeholders
  • Take initiatives on organic growth strategies, such as play store optimization(ASO), keyword optimization, etc.
  • Maintaining relationships with advertising partners to maximize campaign performance and improvements.
  • Staying up to date on the latest user acquisition trends, shifts in market dynamics, and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborating with the Design, Sales, Product, and Data teams to achieve unified company goals in Korea.
  • Manage & publish content for all Mistplay social media accounts in Korea, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Naver blog.
  • Regularly monitor Mistplay Chatrooms and social media interactions to maintain a fun and professional tone in our communications. Answer user questions directed at Mistplay via social media platforms and in-app chat rooms.
  • Support Mistplay Korean users, assist the support team on support tickets and respond to customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues that arise. Support Google play store monitoring.
  • Share ownership of Korean Mistplay with Korea team, assist and support localization, product Q&A.

What We're Looking For:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing/finance or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing and/or mobile user acquisition within the Korean gaming industry
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing/finance or equivalent experience
  • Ability to make informed data-driven decisions based on performance insights
  • Ability to collaborate with our Design Team to help produce high performing ad creatives
  • Previous experience in working with SDK networks, DSPs, SSPs, Facebook, and Google. This can include ironSource, UnityAds, AdColony, TapJoy, Applovin and others.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and work with new technologies
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and spoken in English and Korea
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and/or other programming experience
  • Experience advertising on social networks like naver, kakao and Twitter
  • Familiarity with PR and push notification campaigns
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Additional spoken and written languages such as Chinese or Japanese
