Job Description

Misfits Gaming Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Creative Director to help us tell our brand story. The desired candidate is exceptionally organized, familiar with creative design, copywriting, and multimedia content production. They will manage a team of creative designers, producers, and writers whose goal is to engage consumers worldwide with content from Misfits creators, teams, and influencers.

Reporting to our Executive Creative Director, this individual will lead creative digital and social-first video campaigns for branded content programs and sponsored deliverables. The ACD will collaborate with members of our strategy, events, sales, sponsorship, and production teams to create content experiences across all of our O&O and digital platforms, reaching global gaming fans as well as those who follow Minecraft, League of Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Rocket League, or Valorant.

The ideal candidate understands how to concept and produce content marketing and sponsorship opportunities in line with brand strategies and must be confident interfacing with individuals of all levels (both internally and externally). The candidate will lead the development of video and static content in line with creative strategies from conception through execution. The ACD will need to make thoughtful, independent creative decisions through the production process, representing the voice of the Misfits brand while delivering on our company objectives. The right candidate must be detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a deep knowledge of social channels, digital entertainment, and the world of social media influencers. Gaming knowledge and experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our internal creative team to execute deliverables and campaigns against our brand strategy and goals
  • Contribute to digital platform strategy development and execution for Misfits Gaming and all of our teams across platforms including, but not limited to: Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and Twitch
  • Bring new and big ideas to the table, as well as collaboratively build on othersโ€™ concepts to deliver engagement and build stronger digital content and communities under the Misfits umbrella
  • Work effectively with internal cross-functional teams including Strategy, Product, Sales, and Events to drive 360 campaigns
  • Lead campaigns through full life-cycle
  • Take responsibility for project timelines and program deadlines
  • Ensure that all projects are executed within or under budget
  • Manage talent and vendors on assigned projects
  • Utilize learnings to inform and support the creative approach to reach KPIs across platforms and campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years producing content for cross-platform digital marketing programs
  • Stellar interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong content/creative development & production experience
  • Expertise in management of production process for all custom programs, from the creation of content to program launch
  • Strategic, creative thinker with the ability to turn ideas into holistic content programs
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills โ€“ both in structure and content
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and good management skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and extremely tight deadlines in a high-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter and a strong problem solver
  • Ability to work well with different personalities and within a team setting
  • Interest in the gaming and entertainment industries, but not necessarily experience working in it

This is a full-time position located in either Berlin, Germany or London, UK.
