The Gaming Publisher Experiences team within GEO is looking for versatile developers who are eager to learn and grow in their career as they deliver amazing gaming related software and experiences aimed at perfecting the game publishing experience for creators of all sizes. This position is 100% remote as part of a team developing a hybrid work environment.

You’ll work closely with other engineers in an agile environment, developing modern gaming ecosystems in support of future gaming growth. Expect to leverage industry leading standards including JavaScript, REACT/REDUX, C#, C++ and other cutting-edge technology. Our software experiences are highly service driven, so some level of back-end co-development is a possibility, as well. Responsibilities

  • Drive significant feature design and development across client, web and server technologies stack
  • Investigate, diagnose, and fix product issues in development & production
  • Provide high quality code review feedback for peers
  • Reliably deliver high quality, testable & reliable code in a production setting
  • Contribute to an inclusive, creative, high-performance problem-solving team culture
  • Coach other team members

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional coding experience in relevant languages and technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Redux, C#, C/C++)
  • Excellent skills in design, debugging, and problem solving
  • Motivated to learn and push the boundaries in challenging technical domains
  • Capable of working independentlyin a hybrid work environment
  • Proficient in English - both written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing in a standards-based web environment
  • Experience with developing and operating public facing websites
  • Experience with application user experience development
  • Experience with back-end or microservices development
  • Kubernetes and containers familiarity
