Job Contract: Part Time/IC

Job Level: Non-Manager

Job Location: US/EU

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify the brand voice and tone in all community interactions and exhibit a deep understanding of Method/MMO/RPG communities
  • Extensive knowledge of esports, gaming culture and Twitch memes
    Craft copy for social posts for the Method’s primary social media channels (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Assess new/emerging channels/tools and identify opportunities for Method to grow its social media presence
  • Maintain an accurate and current content calendar, ensuring all updates and changes are reflected in the master document
  • Monitor and analyze the online conversation to guide social media engagement strategies and increase overall positive sentiment for Method and its key stakeholders (e.g., players, creators, staff)
  • Proactively flag opportunities for the brand and escalate issues as needed in a timely matter
  • Plan for and amplify key Method announcements, events and milestones
  • Attend and lead weekly social media planning meeting with Method staff team
  • Partner with Method staff team to develop creative social media campaigns and quick-turn social opportunities; execute accordingly
  • Demonstrate solid research, writing and editing skills
  • Support sales efforts by providing updated social insights on ongoing basis

Job Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience living, breathing, eating social
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively and somewhat autonomously
  • Good visual aesthetic and previous creative experience with tools like Photoshop (and sourcing images) for use on social is a plus
  • A passion for writing and editing content for social media is a must
