Responsibilities

Description:

We are looking for a Senior Audio Designer to join our Mediatonic studio in London and work on different projects like Fall Guys, Gears (of War) POP!, Yahtzee with Buddies, and more.

Details:

  • As a Senior Audio Designer you’ll lead the creation of audio for some of our titles.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with artists and designers in order to define the artistic audio vision, and identify the audio requirements of our games.
  • You will create a wide variety of audio assets and work alongside engineers to implement them. You’ll use resources such as audio middlewares, but will also participate in identifying technical solutions or new tools in order to fulfil the audio needs of our projects.
  • You will be part of a wider audio team and will participate in a shared and coordinated effort to raise the audio quality level of all our games, lending a hand wherever an audio need might arise.

Requirements

Description:

You are a skilled senior audio designer with real world video games industry experience, and would like to work with us on a variety of platforms including mobile, consoles and PC/Steam.

Details:

  • Demo reel that showcases the quality and variety of your work
  • 5+ years video game audio design experience
  • Expert knowledge of sound design, and mixing methods and tools.
  • Expert working knowledge of Audiokinetic Wwise and (ideally) Fmod
  • Experience implementing audio in Unity3D
  • Expert in sound design and audio mixing for interactive and linear content
  • Extensive DAW skills and knowledge (Logic Pro X or Reaper desirable)
  • Experience collaborating in the design and implementation of new audio systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting audio issues across multiple platforms
  • Location and studio based recording experience
  • Strong self-management and organization skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Expert communication and documentation skills
  • Able to collaborate with diverse discipline teams

Desirable skills:

  • VO recording, design and edition
  • Musical knowledge
  • Experience working implementing audio for games during Live-Ops
  • Experience implementing audio in Unreal.
