Director of Creative Services

We are looking for a Director of Creative Services to join Mediatonic. Mediatonic is the game developer behind Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and a new member of the Epic Games family. We’re aiming to build " the Greatest Gameshow on Earth"; as part of our mission to connect people through massively-multiplayer game experiences.

We’re looking for fantastic people to join our world-class team to help grow Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout into an entertainment platform

What You'll Do - In This Role You Will

  • Develop, plan and lead the creative strategy for Fall Guys marketing.
  • A highly creative thinker who establishes and maintains a strong artistic direction, aligning to the style of our games and stretching
    ambitions within the Marketing Dept.
  • Experienced in directing work across all aspects of digital art, including stills and animation/video/cinematography; able to do so in
    a manner that encourages staff involvement and empowerment.
  • Translate the product vision and consumer goals into best-in-class marketing materials.
  • Multi-disciplined creative with vast experience across Art, Graphic Design, Trailer creation, Websites, Social assets etc.
  • Work in collaboration with Paid Media/UA, Social & Community and Influencers to develop data driven creative solutions across Digital Marketing.
  • Set briefs and work with outsource houses/agencies to deliver content to a deadline.
  • Contribute to the studio’s efforts to maintain a sustainable and highly creative working environment.
  • Forges links between Creative Services and the wider studio to ensure a single culture and working ethos is maintained.

What we are looking for

  • 4-7 years experience leading the Creative Services team at either a leading games publisher/developer or within a Creative/Marketing agency.
  • Extensive craft experience, understand the “How” and can get hands on and help elevate creative execution.
  • Senior Management experience with a proven track record of leading and mentoring high performance teams.
  • Highly organized and able time-manage, delegate and deliver complex projects working with multiple departments across various time zones.
  • Passion for videogames and all things Fall Guys.
  • You’re user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do.

Remaining Skills Needed

  • An experienced and respected manager of teams with an inherently positive disposition.
  • Excellent and sensitive communication skills.
