Machine Zone is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive Customer Service background/experience. Qualified candidates will be responsible for the planning, execution, and tracking of our CS tool development efforts and tracking the various projects initiatives related to CS and our Vendor partners. This role will work closely with Customer Service leadership and Customer Service teams to execute on our organizational goals and objectives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the daily activity of all assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring priorities are set and the work is successfully completed within time parameters while meeting quality-of-work expectations.
  • Keep up-to-date project schedules, status reports, creative grids, hours used, etc.
  • Work with project teams to confirm specs, closing dates and extensions as needed and files are delivered per the requirements of the project.
  • Understand project objective and strategy; set meetings and lead the team in identifying, communicating, and developing solutions for any potential problems or opportunities related to tactical execution.
  • Foster collaboration and positive conflict resolution among team members.
  • Work with discipline leaders to make team assignments; ensure the deployment of best-fit internal and external resources.
  • Lead the cross-functional team in the development and management of project road maps, hours, estimates and timelines.
  • Ensure all work has been appropriately reviewed and approved prior to deployment

Your background and who you are:

  • 5+ years of project management and coordination experience
  • Ability to clarify requirements and specs, and explain ideas clearly and manage expectations.
  • Ability to participate in strategy and concept discussions through the lens of “how.”
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and personal organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster an inspiring and collaborative work atmosphere

  • B.S. in a technical discipline
  • Detailed understanding of Customer Service Operations
