The Role

The Automation Test Engineer is responsible for design and implementation of test automation framework for IT Team.

These are the behaviors you’ll need for success at Logitech. As a Automation Test Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for design and implementation of test automation framework

  • Owning the quality of any deliverables including new features and enhancements.
  • Working closely with the product team in understanding the requirements and user workflow.
  • Developing and executing test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the regression test cycle through automation.
  • Performing automated API testing.
  • Contributing to building of a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing process improvement activities.
  • Identifying required improvements in the test and development processes; making contributions to our automation tools that address specific needs.
  • Raising defects / bugs and tracking them till closure.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In QA Automation.

  • Design and development skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience in implementing various Automation Frameworks such as Data-Driver, Keyword, Hybrid, BDD etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Maven, GitHUB, Jenkins and TestNG.
  • Hands-on experience on JIRA and Quality Centre / ALM.
  • Intermediate / advanced knowledge in SQL.
  • Good understanding of the Agile/DevOps software development methodology and QA's role in it.
  • Good knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills. knowledge on continuous integration practices, preferably using Jenkins.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Performance Testing is a plus

In Addition, Preferable Skills And Behaviors Include

  • Automation Design Expertise on tools such as UFT, Selenium Web driver and Katalon Studio, OATS (Oracle Automation Test Suite)

Education

  • BS/MS in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering or equivalent
