Description

Position at Logitech

Your Role And Contribution

Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. These are the behaviors you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:

  • Create and maintain relationships with local business leaders, and their organizations, to challenge and drive the people, cultural and engagement topics which support Logitech’s strategy for the Hsinchu site. This involves a lot of patience, influencing, challenging and most likely pivoting on a daily basis but is rewarded by making an impact and working with the most diverse, and best, groups of people you could ever wish for. As a local P&C lead, you will need to connect with all the P&C Centers of Expertise as well as with other functions whenever necessary to identify the right people to help you to resolve questions and issues in a timely and competent manner.
  • Support our people on the site with P&C matters that require a real human touch more than an in-depth understanding of any one organization’s strategic goals. It does require the ability to sense the environment around you, get a pulse for what’s happening with our people locally and react with interventions that make a real difference. These interventions could involve handling compensation and/or job changes, performance coaching, development advice, providing the right support in difficult personal cases or simply helping a colleague understand a P&C practice or pointing them in the right direction. It probably also means appreciating that every day may provide something unexpected.
  • Plan and organize, communicate and deliver P&C initiatives for the site locally based on your development of an annual P&C site strategy. This involves reflecting on your solid base of HR process and theory and then putting it to good use in a clear, friendly and common sense way. You will plan, organize, communicate and deliver P&C initiatives for the site such as new hire onboarding/orientation sessions, team building support or delivery (and maybe even design); training related to annual people cycle topics such as focal review and performance management.
  • Act as change agent to drive cultural change and keep our values real across the site and connected to the local communities. This creates and runs local engagement events, supporting Logi Cares and other community activities such as initiatives related to Diversity & Inclusion and local university relations.
  • Partner with P&C colleagues to drive our P&C organization forward in how we’re organized, how we work together across functions and what value we provide to the business.
  • Facilitating the development of desired culture across the teams on the site . There are of course some underlying processes such as performance management, compensation and employee relations that will probably pop up but we’d prefer that you use your expertise to get these across without taking a P&C process-driven approach.
  • Own Employment & Employee Relations on site. Proactively following changes in relevant country/local employment laws and involving/raising them to the appropriate party within P&C for consideration and implementation. Managing compliance cases & investigations locally if they arise. This means we can rely on you to raise up employment changes which may require changes to our policies, practices or processes and then be part of the change management planning and solutions if required locally. They’re usually few & far between but Logitech takes ethics and integrity very seriously and we need professionals with a cool head, professional gravitas and an understanding of what confidentiality and support means when they do come along.
  • Likely be surprised now and again, rolling up your sleeves and implementing solutions to topics which we probably can’t predict in a job description but know that we will want you to help with.

Small Company. Big Products.

Logitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it. As a company, we’re small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and make things happen. But we’re big enough in our portfolio, and reach for those actions to have a global impact. That’s a pretty sweet spot to be in and we’re always striving to keep it that way.
