The Role:

As a Test Development Engineer for Logitech, you will define test specifications and work with internal and contracted manufacturers to develop the testing stations of Logitech products on production lines. The responsibilities include defining test spec, closely working with factories to develop, build and deploy test stations. In addition, will analyze data, create test criteria, and optimize tests for reliability and repeatability. The goal is to ensure the best product quality for our end customers.

In This Role You Will

  • Coordinate communication between factories and WW Logitech engineering teams
  • Develop and implement test plans for manufacturing tests and product qualification
  • Work with manufacturers and factories to develop, build, and deploy test stations.
  • Develop automated test software and scripts
  • Integrate test software, test hardware, and fixtures into production test stations
  • Qualify test stations prior to mass production
  • Lead true Failure Analysis and root cause assessments
  • Drive continuous improvement against yields, line throughput, and operation

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Collaboration skills and an optimistic attitude are essential for success
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and PCB layouts
  • Test automation development and scripting (Labview, Python, or similar)
  • Ability to perform hands-on product testing and failure analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Chinese and English)
  • Comprehensive system level testing experiences.
  • Experience with measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc

In Addition, Preferable Skills And Behaviors Include

  • Experience testing audio and acoustic products
  • Wireless testing experience (e.g. Bluetooth, Wifi, etc)
  • Experience testing Lighting products
  • Experience testing cameras
  • Software programming and testing experience
  • Programming languages: C, C++, C#, VB, Labview, MatLab, Python or equivalent

Education

  • Master or Bachelor degree in engineering with a minimum 5 years experience
