The Role

Embedded Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and testing tools/frameworks for validating USB, Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy solutions in Logitech Gaming, Computer peripherals products and work with global teams.

In this role you will

  • Design and development of test framework, infrastructure and tools using Python, C, C++ to test Bluetooth EDR/LE features in Logitech products.
  • Develop automated tests to evaluate the overall system reliability.
  • Work together with software, drivers and firmware Engineers to analyze root-cause of the defects
  • Work with test architects to review, improve and automate test plans and test cases.
  • System level debugging, efforts to improve performance and reliability of USB and Bluetooth connectivity solutions.
  • Proactive abilities to test new features, and Security vulnerability updates.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviours to our team:

  • 3 - 5 Years of experience in test automation on Windows/Linux/Mac and Mobile platforms.
  • Experience in C, C++, Python or any other scripting language
  • At least 3 years of test automation framework design and development experience using python
  • Expert in numerous Testing methodologies ranging from Regression, Performance, Stress, Load, Security, Scalability, Error Injection, Platform etc
  • Proficient understanding of Git source code repository along with Jenkins and its modules for continuous testing
  • Excellent analytical skills and a good team player.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

Possessing The Following Additional Skills Is a Plus

  • Experience in Microcontroller and Firmware development
  • Knowledge of USB/BT protocol
  • Experience in USB stack or Bluetooth stack validation
  • Experience in development of applications in Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS/iPadOS

Education

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in ECE, EEE, Computer Science or a related field.
