Job Duties And Responsibilities

Be the resident subject matter expert for the entire Android OS stack (HAL to Android System Applications and Services).
Create unique technology differentiation for Logitech Video Collaboration products that are built on Android platform.
Analyze/Refine Requirements with Product Management and Engineering teams and translate them to System Architecture for future products for Logitech VC.
Lead, define and articulate technical vision and design for the Engineering Execution team.
Have the ability to prototype and provide initial technical scoping of the project.
Be up to date on latest developments and trends in Android development ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

10+ Years of hands-on experience across the Android stack (native and Java), particularly the Camera and multimedia pipeline
Experience leading cross-functional teams (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) through at least one large scale Android product launch.
At least 3+ years experience as an Architect for Embedded Platforms using Android
Strong practitioner of Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
Strong understanding of OS fundamentals (Android and Linux)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities
Ability to inspire others through example and build consensus based on evidence
Bachelors in a STEM discipline

Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of hardware selection process (peripherals, components, SoCs) and the associated tradeoffs
Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering
AIML experience on Embedded Android
Ability to read and understand hardware schematic diagram
