Lesley seeks a Head Coach of Esports, who will serve to provide leadership and supervision for all aspects of the Esports program.

Reporting directly to the Athletic Director, the Head Coach of Esports will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting qualified prospective students, developing and implementing effective training sessions and practices, and supporting student-athletes in their development.
  • Meeting specified annual enrollment and participation goals by identifying, evaluating and recruiting prospective students to participate as a member of the eSports team.
  • Securing competition and communicate game/tournament schedules for pre-approval.
  • Working with Production to help with streaming, casting, and creating/hosting tournaments, working with marketing to manage social media presence and promotions.
  • Participating in the development of the whole student, including individual well-being and life skills.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the academic progress of team members.
  • Fostering and maintaining a culture that demonstrates a commitment to compliance with all league, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
  • Fostering and maintaining a culture that demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, as well as trust and mutual respect.
