The company was founded in 2011 by David Darling CBE - awarded by the Queen, co-founder of Codemasters and comprises of a highly skilled and creative team that has doubled its size in the last year. The team includes many industry veterans and the original creator of the Micro Machines video games (yes, you read well, we have celebrities here!).

As a Game Analyst you will be thinking of potential improvements to our growing portfolio of games. By predicting the potential gains, as well as Analysing the final results, the role is to ensure our games are in the best state possible for driving revenue.

What you will really be doing

  • Analysing the effect optimizations have had on a game, whether good or bad
  • Thinking of improvements and optimisations to our games and hypothesising the potential gains from each of them.
  • Work with the Data Science team to improve process and procedures, create new tools and shape the direction of the department.
  • Present and distribute the results of tests to key stakeholders in a readable manner.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis for other members of the department.

How you will be doing this

  • You'll be part of an agile, multidisciplinary and creative team and work closely with them to coordinate efforts and get the best results.
  • You'll think creatively and will be motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best.
  • You'll work with cutting edge technology, if you need software or hardware to get the job done efficiently, you can get it. We even have a robot!

Team

Our talented team is our signature. We have a highly creative atmosphere with around 70 staff where you'll have the opportunity to contribute daily to important decisions. You'll work within an extremely experienced and passionate team, including David Darling and the creator of the Micro Machines video games.

Skills and requirements

  • 1 year+ experience in a workplace Analysing Data
  • Strong Python or C# (or similar languages)
  • Keenness for lateral thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An interest in the mobile industry and wanting to immerse yourself in this fast, up and coming business
  • Expertise in statistical theory, methods and tools

Desirable

  • Knowledge of mobile game market, trends, competition, platforms and app store
  • Elasticsearch or SQL
  • An interest in, or understanding of Machine Learning
  • Any experience with AWS technologies
  • Any experience with Pandas and Numpy
