Role
Klang is looking for an Animator (f/m/d) whose passion for characters is seen and felt by others. We are looking for individuals who are self-structured and have a strong understanding of the aesthetics of visual communication to create authentic and lively animations. If you want to work on an ambitious and ground-breaking project we have an amazing opportunity for you!
What you will do:
- Animate characters with believable behaviors, reflecting many different emotional states and personalities, while maintaining SEED’s specific naturalistic and minimalistic animation style
- Animate objects and machines that have different mechanics
- Comprehend and implement the Art Director’s and Lead Animator’s briefs and iterate on animations based on feedback
- Ensure quality and performance of animations given the technical and visual criteria
Who we think will be a great fit:
- 3+ years experience as a video game animator. Preferably a MMO, Mobile, or Simulation game
- Proven experience in animation/fine arts demonstrating a thorough understanding of physical motion, gravity, weight and balance
- Familiarity with Maya and the Unity Engine
- Enthusiastic about human behavior, having a strong understanding of animation principles
- Curiosity, joy for discovery, and openness to a creative, flexible working environment
- Positive attitude and ability to smoothly change and adapt with the project and requirements
- Growth mindset, comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
