Are you passionate about Players? Do you want to champion player experience in research, the game production process and company strategy? Are you proficient in research operations and interested in a role on a fantastic, tight- knit team?

We are looking for a professional with a background in consumer research or research operations. You will work within the Player Initiatives team, collaborating with various teams across King to ensure proper research operations processes are set up and followed.

You will work with UX designers, researchers, data analysts and product owners to connect them to our players and find answers to product design questions.

Your role within our Kingdom

As part of the Player Initiatives team you will assist with the day- to- day research operations, which includes recruiting players for research studies, scheduling research sessions, managing the participant experience and supporting research teams to make our games more player- centric.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Research Operations and is based in Stockholm or London.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Source and recruit players for research from the game or via external tools and vendors.

  • Manage the participant experience throughout projects by being the face and voice of King when engaging with players, virtually or on- site in King’s research labs.

  • Schedule research sessions, coordinate the logistics and collate feedback.

  • Manage multiple research operations projects simultaneously, working on a backlog of requests to ensure efficient and timely delivery to meet stakeholder expectations.

  • Assist the team in maintaining data storage for projects metrics, players, and insights.

  • Help product teams think about our players and assist in the implementation of the best methods to answer research questions.

  • Ensure that research studies follow internal governance, with respect to legal, security and privacy policies.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify gaps and innovation opportunities (e.g., tools, processes, learning and development) and support in the delivery of new solutions

Skills to create thrills

  • Background in UX or (related to) consumer research with a good understanding of product development

  • Experience working in operations within a research or analytics environment

  • Experience or interest in customer- facing roles

  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, delivering in a fast- paced environment, whilst maintaining a calm and friendly approach

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Self- motivated and self- managing with exceptional organizational skills

  • Strong problem- solving skills

  • Agile and proactive with a non- hierarchical mindset

  • A passion for players

  • Individual, but team player

  • Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Survey Monkey, Google Docs & Calendly

  • Gaming sector experience preferred
