We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diversity Equity & Inclusion Director to lead the way in shaping and driving the DE&I agenda for King in alignment with Activision Blizzard DE&I strategy.

Your goal - as a change agent and driver of cultural evolution, to lead on embedding DE&I initiatives across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, strengthening the sense of community, belonging, and ultimately leading the way in making positive and impactful change at scale.

Reporting into the Head of HR, you will partner with senior leaders, HR experts and employee network groups across King. You will design and implement strategic DE&I initiatives that enable our workforce to perform their best work while positioning King as the best in class in all aspects of DE&I.

Your role in the Kingdom:

  • Create a strategy that builds and engages diverse teams, while cultivating an inclusive environment that will advance the thought leaders and innovators of tomorrow
  • Design and champion initiatives to define King’s DE&I approach and culture while ensuring our values feature in all people touch points both internally and externally
  • Lead on operational activities to effectively attract, develop, engage, and retain a diverse workforce and increase King’s ability to support an inclusive environment
  • Tracks and reports on DE&I metrics to measure progress on priorities to drive culture development
  • Partner with leaders at King to implement and deliver DE&I initiatives and enable them to create an inclusive environment that allows our people to grow and thrive
  • Proactively represent King externally and partner with PR & Comms to regularly communicate internal and external DE&I initiatives, events, and progress
  • Stay up to date on DE&I current issues, be the subject matter expert and proactively facilitate the development and application of DE&I best practices in our processes
  • Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to integrate and embed DE&I in people and talent programs and practices
  • Partner with external experts to drive DE&I programs and resources to make King a more inclusive culture and workforce
  • Manage mentorship programs and facilitate workshops, leadership forums linked inclusive behaviours, enabling different voices and perspectives etc.
  • Partner with Employer Brand to build a strong internal and external reputation as a great place to work
  • Lead on external communication and benchmarking including the submission of DE&I surveys, benchmarks, key awards and reporting

Skills To Create Thrills:

  • Credible and established experience gained in a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion role
  • Successful track record in developing DE&I programs from designing through to implementation reflecting a creative results- oriented approach
  • Experience of driving impactful DE&I initiatives and change at an organisational level in a fast- paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to translate key insights and trends into actionable plans to achieve positive and long- term results
  • Excellent program and project management skills, with a clear focus on delivery and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in collaborating and building consensus with senior leaders in matrix organisation
  • Demonstrable experience in driving initiatives linked to talent attraction, development, retention, and fostering an inclusive culture
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to influence and partner with individuals across the business, including senior executives, HR peers and employees to deliver DE&I initiatives
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at all levels using different platforms
  • Discretion, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy with the ability to effectively address tricky situations
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive experience
  • Knowledge in diversity, equity and inclusion legislation and policies with an understanding of traditions and cultural norms
  • Understanding of GDPR in relation to gathering data and reporting demographic data
