Job Purpose:

As part of the Human Resources (HR) team, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, providing generalist support across a range of HR activities, and striving to automate processes where possible. This role is integral to enabling the efficiency and agility of our HR team. You will act as the main support for the HR Advisor, HR Business Partners, and Learning & Development (L&D) Lead, gaining exposure to a wide variety of HR practices.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing confidential, accurate and timely HR administrative support
  • Being the first point of contact for the HR Team, including managing the general HR and Learning mailboxes
  • Responsible for the administration of the employee lifecycle - from drafting the offer of employment to processing leavers
  • Responsible for carrying out DBS checks for relevant roles
  • Complete references for current and previous employees
  • Providing administrative support for the onboarding process, including delivery of the new starter induction
  • Overseeing and administering the company voucher schemes
  • Managing employee files
  • Administering training requests
  • Providing administrative support across various HR & L&D projects
  • Identifying areas of improvement and opportunity for automation

Essential Skills:

  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good organisational & time-management skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Some administrative experience
  • Some HR experience
