About the role

This post is a limited term appointment for 12 months.

We are looking for a motivated and forward thinking individual to join our team within the Department for Enterprise as a Head of Esports.

You will be seen as the figure head of the esports industry on the Isle of Man and your responsibilities will include delivering and further developing the Isle of Man esports strategy, and actively managing the initiative. Initially this will be focused on raising awareness and requirement gathering for regulation of the industry.

This varied role provides a great opportunity to not only develop in your career, but to bring a new sector to the Island and raise its' profile on a global level.

You'll work with on Island esports related businesses, other government Departments, game publishers, professional esport teams and regulators. The key to this role will be building great working relationships and open communication channels to ensure that esports businesses are aware of relevant government initiatives that may affect them.
