Based in Irvine, California with offices in South Korea, Inven Global brings together a team of creative gamers and content creators that work together to expand the esports industry and entertain a new generation of competitive gaming fanatics!

Inven Global is looking for a full-time writer! As a North America Content Creator, you contribute written, video, and graphic content and that entertains, informs, and engages our readers.

Responsibilities:

This is a remote role available to candidates in the United States.
Publish one or more pieces of written content per work-day, whether is timely news, esports and gaming strategy content, or a creative column about any subject within esports.
Sustain a broad appreciation of all titles and genres of esports. The ideal candidate understands and can capitalize on what content is valued by viewers.
Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure a healthy, quality pipeline of content for our readers.

Required Qualifications:

1-2 years of content creation experience in esports or gaming
Consistent and Prolific: You live and breathe esports content. To you, communicating effectively with our audience with your writing is easy. You have the ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
A Multi-Genre Expert: You have an appreciation for a broad variety of esports. You embrace all esports titles and genres as valuable fandoms and content. You are especially knowledgeable in current popular titles, such as League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, Call of Duty, and Super Smash Bros.
A Creative: Your content is compelling and activates new and current readership.
Self-motivated: You see the opportunities and roll up your sleeves to make magic happen. You contribute ideas and successes and are able to work independently.
An Ethical Journalist: You follow the principle of ethics and good practice applicable to journalists, including a commitment to “do no harm”.
A Gamer & a Professional: You not only have an authentic understanding of gaming and esports audiences, but can distinguish between a “good” story and a “must-read” one. Your content always puts the readers’ experience first.

Bonus Qualifications:

Can interview on camera
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
An existing robust social media presence in esports
