Kickstart is a Government scheme aimed to help support young people back into work after the economic effects of the pandemic. It’s aimed at 16-24-year-olds who are not in education and are currently claiming universal credit.

Offering a wide range of top-tier services across games design, level design, writing, pitching, outsource managing, concepting, and QA (Quality Assurance) to anyone who wants to bring experience and a track record to their current and future projects.

The job will involve playing a key part in upholding the quality of the product and ensuring that it is fun to play. They will be responsible for creating reports on the quality of products so that it is as bug-free as possible.

A Day in the Life:

Log onto discord, have a meeting with the team, open a playtest document (that you have created) play the game and test a variety of different situations, complete the document, rinse, and repeat.

You should be passionate about computer games and be able to generate understandable reports and compile data into readable formats. In Addition to having good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work.

The job will be from home, however, if circumstances change (Covid-19) then attending the office will be required and on-site hours will be decided at a later stage.
