Playtra is an independent game studio based in London. Our mission is to create games that define a generation.

We believe games have the power to change everything. Great games have been inspiring people since the dawn of humanity, and we will still be playing games when we're all living inside asteroids, in the depths of space.

Games push the boundaries of what is possible in technology and art. Playtra wants to create those games. We aspire to be pioneers, creating the new worlds that gamers will inhabit for many years to come.

As our Social Media and Game Community Assistant you will work closely with the Community Manager creating activities to engage and grow our community. You will act as a bridge between the players and our development team, bringing in the feature suggestions, criticisms and general feedback from players and making sure they are addressed when possible.

You will research and identify audiences, engaging with potential players in social media platforms to make them aware of the work we are doing.

We expect you to be proactive and find creative solutions for the challenges of growing a community among a crowded game market. Your role requires a high level of open-mindedness, respect, empathy and kindness towards others.

Your daily takes include the creation of posts, videos and other types of media to be posted in our social media channels, reaching out to the game community in order to promote and increase awareness of our current project while following our brand and marketing tone of voice and messaging.

In this role you will be able to get exposed to the day-by-day work of development and impact positively in the final game experience players will have upon the game’s launch.

The ideal candidate will know how to engage with a game community and lead the conversation on social platforms. Ideally you will already have a sizable social following in Twitter, Twitch or similar, relevant platforms. You will have a graphic flair and know how to create engaging, eye-popping content that understands and responds to social trends, being able to genuinely engage with the players and speak their language while still maintaining our tone of voice. Knowledge of the Adobe Suite is a plus but not essential.
