Kickstart is a Government scheme aimed to help support young people back into work after the economic effects of the pandemic. It’s aimed at 16-24-year-olds who are not in education and are currently claiming universal credit.

The casting assistant’s role is to support the production teams with the casting of actors for video game voice recording, likeness scanning, performance capture, and MOCAP (Motion Capture).

Main duties are supporting the production managers with preparing casting briefs, sending them to agents, receiving, logging, and evaluating applications. As well as taking care of social media posts and press, keeping the actor database up to date and scheduling recording sessions and liaison with agents and the production teams.

You need to have strong creative writing skills, a high level of expertise with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and knowledge of Google Suite.

You will be well organised, articulated, and flexible. A passion for videogames, actors, film, and theatre is an advantage, as well as expertise with social media news posts, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
