Kickstart is a Government scheme aimed to help support young people back into work after the economic effects of the pandemic. It’s aimed at 16-24-year-olds who are not in education and are currently claiming universal credit.

Intorqa is an intelligence platform designed to help reduce cheating in video gaming. We do this by providing automated monitoring of cheat vendors, marketplaces, and forums to identify and review all cheats as soon as they are sold or shared. Amongst other benefits, this gives development teams more time to engineer patches and the insight they need to prioritise resource (i.e. they can see which have the most traction) and provides legal depts with the insight they need (e.g. the ranking of all cheat vendors by individual games) to optimise their takedown strategy and target many more.

This role’s focus is on supporting and optimising the day-to-day deployment of our marketing plan; including social media comms owned and paid), event activation, speaker slots, content production, and management, with the aim of growing brand awareness and sales leads, and growing the business.

Our social media comms (Linked In and Twitter) will be a particular focus and the candidate will be expected to help optimise our activity, helping us stand out in these channels and increase reach and engagement.

Deliverables will include gathering market and competitor news and insight, contributing to creative concepts, ensuring the plan is continually updated and shared with stakeholders, reviewing campaign results, and

As a start-up, Intorqa will give the candidate a unique opportunity to be involved in a business as it launches and grows, attracting and onboarding clients and developing the service offering. At the same time, the candidate will develop a good knowledge of the video game eco-system and business drivers within it, as well as strategic planning skills and familiarity with the creative process, including writing briefs, evaluating creative ideas, producing campaigns, budget management, campaign measurement, and evaluation, and presentation skills.

  • Educated to college or degree level.
  • Candidates do not need to have studied marketing or business-related degrees (although it may help) but an interest in and willingness to learn more about marketing, particularly B2B digital and social, is crucial.
  • Good communicator – written and spoken
  • Strong people skills.
  • The candidate should be curious and inquisitive and feel comfortable contributing ideas, discussing, and evaluating creative work.

Everyone who works at Intorqa works from home and there will be no requirement to attend any other work location.
