About us:

We’re an imaginative and diverse team who thrive at the cutting edge of technology, gaming and film-making to create beautifully crafted, interactive stories. At the heart of Flavourworks’ unique way of working - whether that’s ideation, development, technology or even marketing - is a genuine passion for immersive story design, mechanics, and content.

Most notably, we are the creators of Erica. A single-player game that combines full motion video with narrative choices and active consequences, telling the story of Erica's life as she is plunged into an emotionally traumatic world of murder and mystery. A co-production with Sony Europe, Erica has now been released across Playstation 4, iOS, and Steam.

More about the role:

You are an ambitious artist looking to make your mark on the entertainment industry by bringing game- engine technology to the forefront of content production using the techniques of gaming, cinematography and animation. You are able to work quickly and flexibly to create virtually produced scenes and animation. Your work will help support effective creation, communication and realization of our interactive FMV games from development through to production and delivery.

You will join the team as we implement a realtime pre-vis workflow for our content production pipeline. In your role, you will work to piece together ideas and set them in motion to create a dynamic, run-through of the game. Establishing virtual sets and environments and then planning shots with virtual cameras to create cinematic sequences that represent the creative vision of the project. Using real-time technologies, almost any aspect of a shot can be tweaked instantaneously to improve the composition or the timing of the sequence. You will be part of the creative team that helps to support the director's vision via appropriate use of camera movement, lenses, composition, staging, lighting, and editing.
