Who we are:
ESA eSports & Digital Media is a new eSports organization that will host local & international tournaments and leagues as well as creating digital content (mostly live) for video gaming & eSports audience. Although recently established, with its own dedicated eSports arena and production studios, ESA aims to be the biggest player in Turkey and the neighboring regions.
We are now establishing a young & energetic new team made up of gaming and eSports enthusiasts who see gaming as the profession of the future.
We are looking for someone to join our team to be the lead producer for our live & pre-recorded shows and broadcasts, deliver world-class live content and manage the ESA channel in different digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player, who will have strong creative skills, excellent time management and a portfolio of work which demonstrates his/her passion, knowledge and confidence for producing studio based live production either from our control room or elsewhere. You will know everything required to bring a live show from conception to production, calling it from our studio and working with all the creative and technical crew to deliver the show.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the production and live streaming schedule, as well as editorial content for the shows.
- Create mainly video gaming & eSports related content which will attract the audience, increase CCU (Concurrent User) and engagement.
- Drive the content creators, eSports teams and audience to create content according to his/her content strategy.
- Make sure that the content created are in- line with the clients’ (sponsors / ad givers) expectations and deliver feedback.
- Establish strategic partnerships with third parties who will prepare outsourced content for ESA, control and ensure the quality of the outsourced productions.
- Lead the control room during live show
- Supervise all scripts (including writing) and editing of a show
- Review and manage show budgets
- Book crew and equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Min. five years' experience working in a live broadcast / streaming environment
- Solid knowledge of live streamed content styles
- Passion, experience & deep understanding of gaming, fantasy leagues, eSports and sports fandom.
- Keen interest in popular culture, such as music, movies and celebrities.
- Experience working with social media platforms and products (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter…etc).
- Candidates must be able to produce live shows in a traditional control room environment and learn new production workflows.
- Ability to interact effectively with all studio operations personnel and external department personnel who can impact the daily operations.
- Solid editing, writing and production principals are a must. Familiarity with production and editing software, technology, formats and tools.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice (Will require late night and evening work, with flexible scheduling)
- Experience as a copy writer will be a preference.
- Excellent communication skills & having a network in gaming community.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Ability to take initiative when necessary
