We’re looking for a talented Senior Content Writer to work within our Brand Experience Design team, as we define our brand tone of voice, refine our visual identity and consolidate and scale our design language system to make Improbable the most striking and recognisable brand within the games industry.

As Senior Content Writer (Brand Experience Design) you will be a guiding creative force within a team that is dedicated to evoking the energy and ambition of the Improbable vision by creating design and content that unlocks our customers’ imagination and does justice to a technology that is shaping new realities.

Focused on brand and creation, but integrating with digital, print, social media and environments, you will be part of a team that innovates in all areas of brand expression to deliver magic and beauty through brand storytelling, marketing communications and physical/digital touchpoints.

Improbable technology is redefining the games industry. You will be used to translating powerful and complex propositions into inspiring and groundbreaking content pieces and experiences that speak directly to, engage with and inspire our customers.

Areas of Impact:

  • Contributing to the design evolution of our brand vision and product story:
    • Lead role in the tone of voice, definition and experience of our vision/product content across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Specific focus to service CEO company vision against a wide range of content needs.
    • Develop and create new mission content strategies, formats and themes.
    • Write and publish website content, news, updates forums, blogs and opinion pieces.
    • Demonstrate excellent writing and editing skills and ability to do both according to a specific style guide.
    • Champion the role of copy and content creation in support of our company mission and marketing objectives.
    • Liaise with internal client (CEO team) in order to define content requirements..
    • Create and present content options to internal clients.
  • Contributing to and managing a comprehensive Design Language System (DLS):
    • Contributing to the creation and evolution of a system (DLS), for using and maintaining our TOV, content strategy and content language.
    • Developing ways in which the DLS supports specific company/marketing objectives through content formats and types.
    • Educating others in how to best use the formats/system for optimal creative output.
  • Processes & project delivery:
    • Contributing to the continuous development of creative processes and methodologies.
    • Ensuring that team content and design processes are used effectively to deliver projects.
    • Effectively manage time and resource within projects and the wider team.
  • Team mentoring and company culture:
    • Contribution to the creative development of others in the Brand Experience team through skills exchange.
    • Participation in feedback and assessment of other team members.
    • Contribution to the overall company culture through socials and company presentations.

We would like to hear from you if you identify with the following:

  • Experience working within the games industry or a B2B/B2D technology industry with a focus on building developer products.
  • Experience in writing and publishing content for a B2D-focused website, owning content from creation through to activation live on our website and digital channels.
  • Working with both internal and external stakeholders to define content requirements for vision and product related content streams.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills and ability to do both according to a specific style guide.
  • Experience in content format creation across all digital channels.
  • Leadership and quality control at both strategic and implementation level.
  • Ability to manage others effectively and competently through a defined creative process.
  • High skill levels in most major content and production tools (Word, Google Suite, etc.)
