Overview

The ZeniMax Media Inc. Enterprise Services team is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to join the team and be based in Richardson, Texas.  Your primary responsibilities will include the support, maintenance, and optimization of the infrastructure at three critical sites in Dallas.  Our environments are comprised of both Windows and Linux systems, and the person in this role will apply their talents to both. This role will also mentor the local IT support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support all physical infrastructure for MDF’s and IDF’s in conjunction with the facilities team for your locations
  • Monitor, maintain, and support both physical and virtual servers, software, and storage systems; up to and including the OS
  • Work with both your peers in IT and your development team to deliver the optimum hardware configuration for a given set of requirements
  • Capacity planning and implementation for power, space, cooling, and other infrastructure needs
  • Help maintain and improve upon existing security standards, practices, and processes
  • Work independently and as part of a team to support a global organization on incidents, support requests, projects, and other initiatives
  • Assist in triage and serve as an escalation point for the local IT support team
  • Participation in an on-call schedule

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Infrastructure/System Administration
  • Good understanding of best practices in Data Center operations and support
  • Good knowledge of enterprise-class storage and server systems – Dell, HP, NetApp, etc.
  • General Windows infrastructure administration, including Windows Server
  • Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat)
  • General VMware/vCenter administration experience
  • Available to work off-hours to perform maintenance or in case of emergencies
