HyperX is looking for an experienced manager, to lead a group of Product Managers for the PC Peripherals product (Headset, Microphones, Keyboards, Mice, and Mouse pads) category specifically focused on China. The manager for the China focused products will play an integral role in defining the product roadmap vision for China, prioritizing features, and leading the product development from conception to launch. The job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. Must have passion for products and follows the latest technology trend in order to deliver the next cutting-edge product line for gamers!
Primary Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy, roadmap, and positioning of China’s product portfolio
- Function as the bridge between the PC Gaming category and the local China Product Manager team
- Lead team of product managers to develop China focused products in a timely manner
- Analyze China gaming trends and local competitor market
- Collaborate with engineering, business, marketing, design team to solve product challenges and come up with go to market strategies
- Act as a leader and championing for our products
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years product manager experience in gaming products industry
- Demonstrated successful product launches
- Experience working with overseas team members and time-zone
- Multi-lingual, speaking Mandarin and English
- Attuned with the latest gaming peripheral trends, PC gaming products, technologies, and games
- A wealth of knowledge on the gaming landscape, market-share, and the major local competitors within China.
- Understanding of consumer insights of what gamers want next
- Knowledge on China regulations, law, and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Business Management and Project Management experience a plus
- Gamer or ex professional gamer preferred
