Hotspawn is looking for passionate esports writers and content creators. We’re looking for writers who can create engaging copy about titles including CS:GO, Call of Duty, League of Legends, Dota and more. In your application, be sure to include a cover letter, resume and a sample of your work (links to previously published works preferred).

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience in writing esports content in magazine-style
• Is proficient in at least one of CS:GO, Call of Duty, League of Legends, Dota (Additional esports titles are a bonus)
• Is proactive and willing to pitch both feature and evergreen content ideas
• Has Wordpress experience
• Has a willingness to learn SEO best practices
• Is an esports fan and gamer
• Is able to work independently and manage deadlines

Responsibilities include:

• Pitching content ideas
• Pitch and draft in-depth feature and evergreen pieces
• Remain up to date with current esports news of your given esports vertical
• Able to reference and integrate multimedia sources into articles such as tweets, videos, and highlights from Twitch streams
