We are seeking a talented Associate Gameplay Engineer who will work closely with content teams to push our gameplay and AI systems to new heights of fun and visual fidelity, creating new systems and leverage existing ones to realize immersive and exciting gameplay. This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate engineering team on the world’s most popular game franchises!.

Your Mission:

  • Collaborate with designers and animators to create new gameplay systems and expand existing ones
  • Work with engineering and content teams to develop new AI characters and behaviors
  • Support the design department by working on a variety of generalist tasks, to facilitate their efforts
  • Implement, debug and optimize major systems in C/C++ and other languages in the context of a large cross platform codebase

Player Profile:

  • Excellent C++ programing skills
  • Solid basis in 3D math, related to game programming
  • Strong design sensibilities and outstanding communication skills
  • A strong passion for video games
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math related field

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Animation – blend trees, IK, motion matching
    • Networked game logic.
    • Physics simulation.
    • AI - behavior trees, animation state machines, nav mesh
  • Extending an established code base.
