Our Advertising Division has an engineering team consisting of more than 50 engineers. We hire diverse skill set from Computer Vision Scientist to React developers. The highlight of Advertising division is the scale and amount of data it handles. We generate more than 50 TB of new data every day. We have web services that receive more than 20 million requests per minute. Our engineers and scientists work on technologies such as Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Spark, Kafka, AWS, Big data and React. GumGum’s Ad Server team is seeking a Creative Engineer who will help to create, launch and troubleshoot ad campaigns. We’re looking for someone with a solid background in Javascript and web technologies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a creative technical thinker, one who thrives on interesting complicated challenges and has hands-on experience debugging complicated coding issues. Experience in the ad industry, and with online advertising technologies a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform manual campaign setup for GumGum’s ad units
Build markup and create profiles for ad lines
Prep and optimize digital assets; uploading final products to CDN
Configure pixels for ad tracking
Implement custom JS scripts where required
Test ad units against all browsers and ensure tracking pixels are implemented correctly
Troubleshooting
- Issues with rendering / visual problems
- Issues with malfunctioning interactions
- Initial investigations on tracking discrepancies
Collaborate with a variety of teams

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in front-end web engineering
Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Expert eye for detail and pixel perfection; no detail is too small or insignificant
Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong cross-team collaboration skills, excellent communicator
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
