Role Description

We are looking to employ a communications manager with exceptional writing skills. The core function of the Communications Specialist will be to ensure a smooth implementation of the GRID PR & Communication strategy that includes a number of communications projects related to our various products. Working closely with Delivery, Product, and Media Teams you will lead the development and delivery of all GRID communications across a number of channels with a key focus on Social Media, PR, and Content. You will have a great opportunity to manage and improve all our communications flows, within and outside of our company in the very exciting times GRID is currently experiencing.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field or equivalent work experience in gaming, technology, or esports communications role at the agency or client-side
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience in content creation (written) for all media platforms and blogs
  • Proven social media and networking expertise
  • A portfolio of work available for review (social media channels you were in charge of, press releases, or articles you prepared).

What you will do

  • Contribute to the communication strategy development for all our products
  • Manage communication of GRID at a global scale, both internally and externally
  • Act as a liaison between the communications team and GRID teams for scheduling, follow-ups, and media training
  • Review media briefing materials and edit as needed; pass along materials to key GRID team members and ensure review and awareness
  • Manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with departments such as legal, marketing, PR, and Product Development
  • Lead on the execution and monitoring of communications activities
  • Document Communication department efforts (prepare guidelines, playbooks)
  • Coordinate communication calendar covering Social Media, PR, Events, and other content efforts
  • Support drafting briefing materials and media messaging, maintaining media lists
  • Assist in drafting press materials as needed including blog posts, website copy, ad copy, media alerts, press releases, managing media assets, tracking and reporting analytics, and ad hoc press material
  • Manage social media channels (Linkedin, Twitter) - prepare content by working closely with the media team, analyze, and report social media channels' performance
