As an Art Director, you will act as a vision holder for our games, ensuring style and quality. Your role will be to help define the art style and build the visual identity including creating visual targets, style guides and documentation. The successful candidate will be able to cultivate original and creative ideas for products, services, or work processes across all art disciplines.

Requirements

What do you need from me?

  • Mastery of art principles and how they are related to gameplay design, fiction and mechanics.
  • Able to create original and industry inspiring art quickly and effectively.
  • Defines art style guide for characters, environment and UI with creative leadership buy in.
  • Seasoned manager, with the ability to lead, inspire and communicate across the entire art team.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with other disciplines to fully-understand requirements and deliverables, and effectively communicate those to the team.
  • Setting the standard of written and verbal communication for the team to follow.
  • Consistently striving to raise the bar for the game and teams art talent.
  • Organizing art meetups. Guiding artists with drawing sessions, art talks, and announcements. Finding the right education programs or services for the studio. Enables art knowledgebase distribution within the studio
  • 5+ year’s experience in a similar position (Gaming)

It would also be great if you...

  • Have worked on multiple games launched
  • Have experience in other casual/mobile games
  • Have a degree in visual arts, animation, visual effects or a comparable degree
  • Have agile scrum knowledge
  • Have VFX and animation experience
  • Have knowledge of Unity
