The Business Development Manager (Media Sales) will be responsible for driving revenue growth through media sales, identifying new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media sales landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for the esports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive media sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including advertisers, sponsors, and media partners.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored media solutions.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling sales proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value of GosuGamers' media offerings.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas within the esports and media industry.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hunter position within media sales, preferably within the esports, gaming, or digital media industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
