We're hiring a part-time, contract Unity Generalist / 3D Artist based on a time requirement of minimum 3 days per week and up to 5 days per week. This is remote, entry level role with flexible hours, ideal for a recent graduate.

You’ll be working with a small team of Unity developers and 3D artists to build and deploy fast and as such the position requires someone who is not afraid of hard work and occasional overtime.

Remuneration for the role is $150 per day, with the possibility of an increase in remuneration following a review after 6 months.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with games and / or 3D graphics applications / projects in Unity.

  • Understanding of VFX, Rendering, and post-effects

  • Solid understanding of both art and animation pipelines

  • Familiarity with game systems and the game development process

  • Knowledge of high-end coding languages as well as scripting skills (C# is a must)

  • Ability to pinpoint the best tools and software to maximize game delivery,

  • High-level artistic skills - proportion, color, and composition is a must

  • Understanding of rigging, skinning, and animation, and knowledge of real-time animation (including motion capture) pipeline

  • Experience in digital art content creation - high and low-poly modelling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level art, etc

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in physics simulations would be considered a plus

  • Shader development experience would be a plus

  • Creative mindset and ability to overcome technical challenges

  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teams
