About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager for Android Platform and Partnerships in South Korea, you will help to shape the future of Android in Korea, defining our marketing strategy and working closely with APAC/local teams and partners to put it into action.

You will have a deep knowledge of how Android and Google Mobile Services work across various hardware form factors. In addition to shaping Google’s own strategies and properties, you will work closely with carriers, OEMs, mass-market retailers, and other partners to develop co-marketing strategies, and subsequent go-to-market activities. You will have a keen sense for branding, a drive to portray Google’s products in innovative ways, and an appreciation for user insights, scale and measurement. You'll work closely with global and regional Marketing teams as well as with cross-functional stakeholders across Business Development, Partnerships, and Products.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize user and market insights to inform and shape marketing strategies.
  • Develop sound platform and partner marketing strategy to assist Android growth and usage of Google products.
  • Build collaborative relationships with ecosystem partners and execute co-marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the design and execution of effective branding, retail marketing and partner co-marketing campaigns and analyze campaign performance and socialize best practices globally.
  • Launch and drive rapid adoption of new products and features, working with Global Marketing teams and Product Managers to optimize products for Korean users.
