Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing and negotiating with partners.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in product management, sales, or distribution of mobile apps at a leading market provider.
  • Understanding of mobile apps and games market, standards, business models, sales channels, and competitive landscape.
  • Understanding of and passion for Google products.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, resilient, and highly collaborative.
  • Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish.

The Play Partnerships, Games Business Development team develops relationships with a range of organizations, from startups to large publishers and game developers, works with them to build great apps and games, and finds ways for them to reach their audiences and grow their digital businesses. From joint design and solving technical problems for partners, to developing business models, and distributing apps and games globally, we provide the full lifecycle of support for partners.

You'll be equipped with data, business acumen, and extensive product knowledge, you'll be right on the front line, helping developers grow their business on Android. You'll consult on quality, engagement, business improvements, and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong strategic relationships with game developers to support their expansion strategy in LATAM. Build strong understanding of partners' business strategy beyond mobile, and find opportunities in the broader Google perspective.
  • Provide extensive consultation on key partner's app business based on analysis on partner metrics.
  • Work with internal experts to identify key opportunities for the regional market in partnership with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Collaborate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership and broad spectrum of other functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Marketing), to garner resources on strategy execution.
  • Define partnership strategies and execute go-to-market plans, prioritize your partner portfolio, with specific, measurable, and achievable/stretch goals to grow your partners to the next level.
