About Ginx TV

We are an ‘early stage’ company based on a small industrial campus between London’s King’s Cross and Camden. Our channel, GINX Esports TV, is dedicated to the world of esports and we broadcast entertainment shows as well as live esports tournaments from around the world. The channel is distributed to over 55 million households worldwide and is pioneering the concept of bringing esports to mainstream TV audiences.

The Role

We are just beginning our full force digital efforts with the release of a new digital platform. We’re looking for a part time QA Tester to help test both existing and new features. A passion and familiarity with games and online video content is helpful. This role is for 1 day a week and will report to the SVP of Platform Development

Responsibilities

• Accurately report, track and manage bugs in Jira
• Create test cases based on loose feature outlines
• Help in the definition of features by identifying edge cases
• Test features based on both the feature outline and expected user behavior

Desirable Attributes

• A passion for games and esports
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent project management and planning skills
• Organized and disciplined
• The ability to accurately and succinctly describe problems and how to replicate them
• Basic Jira familiarity (or similar project management software) preferred
• Previous QA experience preferred
