As part of the Strategy team, you will work on strategic planning, analysis, insight generation and needle-moving initiatives within Garena, where fast business expansion has posed exciting opportunities and challenges. You will be working closely with senior management, in a fast-paced, global and intellectually stimulating environment, with the potential to deliver direct impact to our business.

Job Description

• Work closely with business, finance, and legal teams on key cross-functional projects
• Assess business performance and present insights to senior leaders to facilitate critical business decisions
• Review and provide inputs on financial forecasts
• Evaluate internal processes and implement improvement initiatives
• Identify business teams’ pain points and propose possible solutions
• Drive adoption of best practices throughout the organization

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable university
• At least 3 years of working experience in a strategy consulting firm, strategic planning function, investment bank, accounting firm, or PE/VC firm
• Strong financial and accounting knowledge, and financial modeling skills (CFA/CPA preferred)
• Past experience with process improvement and comfortable working with business, legal, and finance teams
• Familiar with markets in one or more regions (APAC, EMEA, etc) will be advantageous
• High horsepower – highly intelligent, critical thinking, highly analytical, problem solver and the ability to articulate ideas to senior leaders
• Genuine passion for the games business
