Gamepur, the up-and-coming destination for general video gaming guides and news, is seeking a contract weekend editor. The person in this role will work 8 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays (16 hours per week total). Responsibilities include editing posts, approving pitches from writers, tracking news and new releases over the weekend, developing story ideas for writers, and writing as needed.

In addition to at least two years of experience as an editor, candidates should have in-depth knowledge of general video gaming and follow current industry news. Applicants should be self-driven, hard-working folks who are eager to be a part of a small but rapidly growing team.

This is a contract position and pays $1,600 per month. We’re a global, digital newsroom, and all work is remote. This is a great opportunity to cover the video games industry for a growing gaming publication.
