Gameopedia’s engineering team is looking for highly motivated and talented DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to build the next generation of software services that powers several mission critical applications. How you will make an impact

  • Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Define and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Strong technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
  • Troubleshoot techniques and fixing the code bugs
  • Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the errors
  • Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any relevant degree
  • 3+ years of proven work experience in DevOps roles
  • High-level analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
  • Excellent troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Configuration Management with Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
  • Docker container, image creation management, and Registry
  • Docker Orchestration, networking, Installation, configuration and security
  • Install and deploy Kubernetes cluster understand pods and scheduling techniques
  • Perform logging, monitoring, services, and volumes in Kubernetes
  • Troubleshoot application and network failures
  • Perform audit and log the cluster events
  • Deploy projects on AWS
  • Ability to work independently with clients, proactive and self-managed
