Job Description

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Team Lead for our Montreal studio. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the person will participate in the implementation of human resources management strategies and the development of HR processes and tools for the Gameloft Montreal studio.

  • Supervise two (2) HR business partners and one (1) HR coordinator in their tasks, answer their questions on a daily basis, validate their work as needed, produce annual performance evaluations, ensure their professional development, etc;
  • Participate in the development of various programs that will help mobilize and engage Gameloft employees;
  • Project management: hybrid work mode, organizational culture, benefits programs, employee satisfaction - preparation and facilitation of focus groups, feedback collection, recommendations to management, implementation and follow-up;
  • Participate in the management of internal human resources management policies and the implementation of process improvements;
  • Participate in monthly meetings with managers to answer their HR questions related to team management, inform them on various policies and follow up on current files;
  • Management of short and long term disability files (follow-up with the insurance company and employees) and management of CNESST cases;
  • Responsible for compiling data and responding to the Corporate Social Responsibility Report - Data Collection with the support of the assigned HR Advisor or Coordinator;
  • Prepare or ensure the production of various documents/reports requested by studio management;
  • Verification of HR reports maintained by the team;
  • Plan the Montreal HR department's projects and manage the team's priorities and objectives;
  • Participate in the coordination of special events (as needed);
  • Support the HR operations of our US studios;
  • Assist the HR Director in various organizational development mandates.

Qualifications

Experience and skills required:

  • University diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a generalist and three (3) senior advisor and/or HR team manager.
  • Good knowledge of office software included in the Microsoft Office suite and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Quebec and Canadian labour laws.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Immigration.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent judgment, autonomy, initiative, rigor and professionalism.
  • Human and professional curiosity.
  • Ability to manage several projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Knowledge of the HR system (People@Work and WorkForce Now from ADP) (Asset).
  • Knowledge of Workday ERP (Asset).
