Job Description

As a Graphics Programmer, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and maintain the rendering pipeline in our engine, from shaders to C++ code

  • Own the optimization and budgeting effort related to rendering: particles/vfx, lights, textures, models/lods, shaders, compute shaders etc

  • Contribute to the core frameworks and engine middleware of the company to help pushing our technology further

  • R&D new techniques to improve the quality and performance of our titles and increase our rendering budgets

  • Collaborate with our tech artists to improve our ongoing and upcoming titles

  • Participate in tech reviews during key phases of the projects

  • Participate in technology watch and research and development activities

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years of similar programming experience

  • Deep C++ knowledge, C++11 and above, comfortable in large code-bases

  • In depth knowledge of modern 3D APIs (DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal)

  • Highly proficient in Shader Language programming (HLSL or GLSL)

  • Experience with advanced rendering techniques (PBR, IBL, screen space techniques, GI, deferred/clustered forward or forward+ rendering)

  • Ability to develop and maintain a close relationship with the Art department to interpret and guide requests and provide advice, expertise and mentorship

  • Have shipped several high-quality 3D games on console or mobile as part of the engine team

  • Experienced with multithreaded programming and performance profiling

  • Experience with either or both mobile programming (iOS, Android, Windows) and console development (Xbox 4 and later, PS4/5)
