Job Description
From the beginning of your journey with us you will
- Design, implement, and balance gameplay mechanics for world class mobile games
- Prototype your design ideas and iterate to find the fun
- Work closely with artists and animators to turn your prototypes into polished experiences
- Use feedback, playtests, and metrics to gain insights and refine your work
- Analyze competitive games to be an expert in the genre and audience
- Pitch creative new game ideas for upcoming game projects
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have
- Passion for mobile free-to-play games
- 2+ years of experience as a game designer, gameplay programmer, or equivalent background
- Post-secondary degree in game design, programming, or equivalent background
- Ability to rapidly prototype gameplay using Unity
- Strong technical ability including math, geometry, and scripting
- Solid understanding of mobile game design fundamentals
- Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Ability to adapt and hit deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment
- Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
As bonus we’ll also consider
- Demonstrated passion for gameplay shown through personal game projects
