Gamefam User Acquisition Manager

Background

Gamefam is a start-up gaming company whose strategy is to bring best practices in F2P game design and live operations to emerging UGC gaming platforms. Our goal is to create amazing experiences for amazing communities, and our UA Manager is the person who will be on the frontlines of helping us find and expand our communities.

The ideal UA Manager candidate lives for the scientific method - hypothesize, experiment, report, and improve. We have a strong art department and no shortage of creative ideas on how to attract high value users. What we need is a hero who can define the methodology for maximizing ROAS and work cross-functionally to develop, implement, and constantly improve their UA strategies.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, intrinsically motivated, highly organized, and driven to meticulously and constantly run, optimize, and scale UA campaigns to build the next generation of F2P gaming super hits!

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement a quantitatively-driven user acquisition strategy to acquire profitable users and maximize the profit potential of each game in the Gamefam network
  • Work with production teams to come up with campaign ideas and own the asset development process
  • Own operations and deployment of UA into the various UA channels that Gamefam is focused on
  • Create and present weekly and monthly reports on the state of Gamefam’s UA efforts, focused on maximizing ROAS and creating a bible of best practices to utilize across Gamefam’s portfolio of games
  • Work with CTO to come up with new ways to utilize technology to build and maintain systems for retaining and re-acquiring high-value players

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in gaming user acquisition at a major F2P gaming publisher with a strong history of building methodology, executing campaigns, and achieving ROAS
  • Strong data analysis, management, and visualization skills to track campaigns and develop insights that lead to ongoing improvements in ROAS
  • Ability to partner with internal teammates to define and implement new technologies needed to properly run UA
  • Ability to identify new ideas and opportunities for technologies that can create efficiencies in and optimizations of the UA pipeline
  • Strong strategy development and implementation skills
  • Previous start-up experience or desire to work in gaming start-up environment
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and passion for gaming, media, and brands
  • 4-year degree from a top university
