Ubisoft FGOL is looking for a resourceful, creative and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join the studio’s established Marketing team which operates as central hub, collaborating with colleagues and various departments across a wide array of functions: Business Intelligence, Live Operations, Game Design, QA, CRM, Press, Head Quarters, Partners and other key stakeholders and more.

This is an exciting and varied role, with the chance to work closely to Brand Managers, Artists and Community Developer on all aspects of marketing and branding; together with the opportunity to work with production team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Marketing Coordinator is someone process oriented which act as the team supporting person and, have a wide array of skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Working on processes across Art, Brand and Community, facilitating workload and task management.
  • Provide and share information about project, event or campaign expectations and goals.
  • Support Team members gathering information and data from other departments
  • Attending and share meeting minutes to allow team members to get caught up on what discussed to inform future decisions.
  • Improve existing and, establish new internal processes to map out ideal performances of the Marketing Team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for at least 3 years’ full-time experience in a similar position in marketing or related fields. Experience in digital products and Apps strategy is essential. The ideal candidate must have great attention to detail, good communication skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks on sometimes short deadlines. Knowledge of social media platforms, online marketing tools and marketing campaign development and implementation processes is also a plus while being capable of following workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, maintaining files and records with effective filing systems, supporting the team with various administrative tasks.

The candidate must also be multi-tasking, autonomous, work independently and proactively, while making sure quality products are delivered on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and updates planning and follow-up tools, raise alerts ahead of time and assess their impact on the final delivery.
  • Participate in the monitoring of project deliverables to ensure the respect of deadlines and quality.
  • Independently delegating tasks to appropriate team members and coordinating workload while ensuring Deadlines are met based on department and studio timeline and priorities.
  • Organise team workload, based on proposed timeline, track progress, flag delays and problem solve to ensure timely delivery across all content and campaigns.
  • Oversee the delivery of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards
  • Collect, analyse and address feedback on projects to gauge satisfaction and success.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and a healthy team culture.
  • Support the team on an administrative base.
  • Help to maintain detailed records of marketing activity.
  • Help plan and execute a variety of initiatives and activations.
  • Contribute to strategy, plans, and best practices, keeping a keen eye on campaigns and industry trends.
  • Build roadmaps and communications plans
  • Support the department and studio initiatives, planning, executing, and tracking marketing plans.
  • Assist the team gathering contents, adjusting processes and collaborating to create a transparent work environment.

SKILLS:

  • Possess great attention to detail and have good experience implementing processes and managing workload, task and projects with measurable results.
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities to proactively anticipate hurdles and rapidly propose solutions.
  • Decisiveness and good judgment.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities together with the capability to juggle multiple projects, creative ideas and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritise a varied workload with multiple long and short-term deadlines, contributing to large multi-team projects.
  • Good data analysis skills and the ability to synthesize data, market trends and user feedback to help build insightful product features.
  • Ability to produce marketing plans and new ideas as well as assisting the current marketing plans with the internal team.
  • Keen interest in gaming, with over 2 years of knowledge within the marketing sphere especially focused on coordination of consumers, brand, social media and product management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven marketing track record in a coordinator role.
  • Solid understanding and experience of digital marketing communications and the elements of a marketing plan.
  • Excellent task management, time management, organisational, interpersonal, reporting, presentation skills.
  • Experienced In the various different strands of the media whether its web, social, Television or Print media.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Spreadsheet or graphs.
  • Knowledge of various Google products – particularly Google Drive and Google Analytics.

PLUS

  • Previous experience and current understanding of the digital games F2P space would be an advantage.
  • Understand pop culture. Must be able to channel one’s inner nerd.
  • A genuine passion for video games, digital media and their communities.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, Tableau, JIRA and Trello
  • Experience working with global brands in a multicultural environment
  • Experience within the Game industry to ensure knowledge on policies, procedures and best practices.
